A couple of weeks ago

I went on a mission to prevent a couple of stray females from having a bunch of babies no one wanted.

I asked the universe that if she would just give me this win, I could totally justify saving an Oklahoma husky during my intake hold. So here she is. Her name is Magdalena.

She and another husky found themselves in the red when it comes to being out of time at a local shelter. Unfortunately, I couldn't save the other one in time. She was euthanized, so

when I learned about Maggie becoming at risk, I asked Mike to run, not walk to go get her out of there.

Maggie has the tell tail signs of having multiple litters of puppies. Poor babe. All that's over now. The shelter spayed her already so once she is out of quarantine, I am going to find her a couch and a family, in the meantime, I welcome this pretty girl to Husky Halfway House, the place that gives her, her life back, a place she can call halfway home.
