📚 Effie’s Story Goes to Print — A New Chapter for The Halfway Huskies Series


Big news! Jenni’s third children’s book, Effie’s Story, is officially headed to print and will be available on Amazon this August. It’s the first release in our new series, The Halfway Huskies—a collection of real-life rescue stories brought to life through beautiful illustrations and heartfelt storytelling.

🐾 Meet Beau — The Laid-Back Mud-Lover Ready for a Calm Forever Home


Beau is a 7-year-old husky mix who’s been with us almost a year. He’s made one thing clear: he’s not here for chaos. This San Bernardino boy is all about slow mornings, quiet evenings, and maybe a roll in a mud puddle or two.


💬 “I don’t need a pack or a party. I just need a human who gets me.”


Beau thrives in solo environments and would love a chill home with one-on-one attention—and maybe the occasional spa day in the dirt.

🌟 Adoptable Spotlight: Vanilla


At just one year old, Vanilla is tall, spunky, and ready to be the center of attention. She came to us from a local cat rescue (cats were not a match) and has since blossomed into a bold, people-loving girl with a big personality.


She’s thriving on a special diet, probiotics, and love—now she just needs a forever home where she’s the one and only.

🎥 Video Feature: Churro & The Chaos Crew


Churro, Annabelle, and Carter remind us that over 190 huskies are still waiting for homes. Churro might not be lap-sized, but he’s full of love, fluff, and potential.




Rescue Ride Update: 5 Huskies Find Forever Homes


Rocky, Malakai, Persephone, Magnus, and Hector all hit the road toward their forever families. It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do.


Some dogs—like Hector, the very first dog Carter and Melissa pulled together from OKC—carry extra weight in our hearts. And Magnus, one of our originals, finally made his big leap home.
