Some rescues have clean floors and quiet kennels.

We’ve got muddy play yards, stormy skies, and a pack of howling huskies who don’t quit.


And honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way.

(Okay… maybe less mud would be nice.)

Vivian the Houdini Husky & Stormy Tantrums


Vivian has been with us for over 1,200 days—that’s more than three years of waiting. She’s our clever red escape artist who’s outsmarted every fence we’ve built… but what she really wants is a forever home with a secure yard and someone who understands her independent heart.

Cody, Blaze & Johnny: No Longer Halfway Home


Cody waited 589 days. Blaze and Johnny waited too. This week, all three got the news they were dreaming of—they’re going HOME.

Senior Spotlight: Kaliska's Incredible Progress


When Kaliska arrived at H3, she was 17 years old and weighed just 24 pounds. She could barely stand. Now? Only. A few weeks later? She’s wagging her tail, walking, eating, and reminding us why we say yes—even when it’s hard.

At Husky Halfway House, it’s not just humans doing the healing—our husky pack helps each other recover from trauma too. In one of our most powerful videos yet, we captured the quiet comfort of pack therapy. New arrivals are welcomed, comforted, and protected by the pack, reminding us all: you’re safe here now.


Welcome Home, Freddie (Mercury!)


Freddie has officially arrived at Husky Halfway House—and he made his debut with a live video. Like so many, he needs support for vet care, food, and the long road ahead. Justice for Ruby: The Fight Continues


We haven’t forgotten Ruby. Locked in a bathroom. Driven to chew off her tail. One of 55 abused special needs dogs. While her abuser sits in jail, we’re fighting for real justice.


We’ve already spent $1,700 on legal fees. We need help covering that—and continuing the fight.

Phoenix Has Been Found


Phoenix was missing— already scarred and traumatized, then he was gone. Escaping and running away. But thanks to an incredible team of humans who refused to give up, he’s been found! His journey continues to remind us how much every life matters.
