Goodbye Hugs

Somewhere in ND, I gave him one of many goodbye hugs.

I treasure this time with them. I don’t always get to hand them to their new families.

After a stint in a shelter, a year in boarding and months and months of being a halfway husky, in less than 24 hours, this kid will no longer be halfway home.
