This is Kash and he is a staff favorite

Just look at that smile! It’s like he is saying cheese for the camera!

Now Kash has a top dog attitude, which is how he found his way to us here back in 2021. He found himself back in the OKC shelter after a foster family, who was caring for him, couldn't make things work with their other dogs. He can only handle being in a group, if he is in complete control of it. If there is a fight in the yard, he is going to be in the middle of it every time.

His story is a reminder that sometimes, even the most deserving pups face hurdles on their path to finding their forever homes. He would do amazing in a home, as the only dog! Rare for huskies, but here he is!

Now Kash is people possessive and will fiercely protect his chosen person from any potential threats. Especially other dogs.

Non husky people are wondering, why is he a staff favorite? Well, he walks on a leash like he is strolling down a runway. He does well in the car and is considered to be medium energy. All points in his favor. Also, he is supremely gentle with humans. Even though he is not much of a cuddler, he will be a loyal companion to someone forever.

So, if you're a husky aficionado on the hunt for a loyal sidekick, Kash is ready and waiting to steal your heart. Give him a chance, and he'll prove just how much love he's got to give!

Kash is currently located at Husky Halfway House in Oklahoma. All H3 dogs, including Kash, are available for adoption throughout the USA, except for Hawaii and Alaska. We offer transportation services directly to your door upon approval of your application.
