Where she felt her owner hand her brother and her off at the shelter. Likely because her eyes were exploding out of her head.
I am grateful the shelter recognized their bond and kept them together. He is her protector, he is her eyes. She needs him and he needs her.
Her next big moment leading to her future was where she felt our hands caring for her as we removed the eyes that she told us she didn’t need.
Today was the moment she felt her new dad lift her up into the very ride that will take her home as her brother and protector waits patiently to be loaded next to her.
Tomorrow she will feel the ground that her brother and she will call their own. She will think of us and our sadness for taking her eyes and say “see, I didn't need you to be sad, I needed you to set me free.”
Go on Googly, you are free baby girl, enjoy your ride, cause you and Rufio are no longer halfway home.
Happy tears🤗
