Rescue ride success!

Hutch, formally a CA boy, now a permanent resident of MD. Woot!!

Last year we pulled this boy out of a high kill CA shelter and promised him that halfway home meant he would be home someday.

Well, today is that day.

Hutch did it! He beat being dumped by the family he trusted, beat the shelter system after he found himself locked in a concrete cage not knowing what would be next, managed to reach the heart of a shelter worker who chose him to be saved when I gave the shelter 5 spots at my rescue, lived a year in a halfway house with a bunch of other huskies in the same position as he is and finally, finally, he can finally say that he is no longer halfway home.

Go on Hutch. We got your back for life. It's your turn. Finally, officially, home.
