The pretty girl that scared us all half to death 2 1/2 weeks ago because she just stopped moving and couldn't even keep water down? How we discovered that she had eaten a whole stress ball at some point, likely before she ended up in the shelter back at the end of October.
Miss Piggy's past is a mystery; we don't know why she was in the shelter. Literally all it says on her shelter intake form is her assigned number, the date, coloring, sex, and a guess as to her breed (shepherd mix). Then it lists some shots they gave her. We don't know when she ate the ball or where. She could have eaten it in a home when she was bored and unsupervised or on the streets when she was really hungry and scrounging for food.
But that doesn't have any bearing on her future! After her surgery, she has bounced back and is happier than we have ever seen her! She even likes to play more! And since she has recovered, it is time for her to take the next step. From halfway home to a forever home!
This girl is the perfect fit for any home; she gets along with all of the different dogs in all of the pack groups in the rescue. She loves treats, so bribery should work on her! Not to mention, she will do just about anything to get some head scritches!
Miss Piggy is located in Oklahoma at Husky Halfway House. All H3 dogs, including her, are adoptable anywhere in the USA, excluding Hawaii and Alaska, and we can transport them straight to your door with an approved application. To apply, please visit our website. Direct link in the comments.
