Jenni walked into the Oklahoma City shelter yesterday to bust out a husky that was scheduled to be euthanized. Little did she know, she was about to save another life.
This is Logan, and this is a small part of his story.
The past two times our HBIC, Jenni went to this shelter, she saw this bubbly little guy.
The first visit, he had thick matted fur but otherwise was a spunky kid who seemed to find himself in the wrong place, at the wrong time.
The second visit, he was shaved and cleaned up. He seemed to be full of energy. We were hopeful that he was getting adopted.
But this time. It was different. So very different.
He went from a happy jumping young husky to a shell of his former self. Just laying on the floor of his concrete box, he wouldn't even lift his head.
Emergency alarms went off in Jenni's head as we all held our breath.
Is he sick? Is he giving up? Is he too far gone? Can we even save him?
This story is not over for Logan. Like so many at H3, he doesn't have to be a lost cause. We can, and we will, do everything in our power to bring this little man back to life.
As always.....thank you for what you do.
