H3 Recap: Highs, Heartbreaks, and Huskies Headed Home

Rescue doesn’t slow down, and neither do we. These last few weeks have been packed with rescues, adoptions, fundraising fights, and some of the hardest goodbyes. Here’s the real story of what’s been happening behind our gates, on the road, and all across the country.

💙 So Many Adoptions

This past month has been HUGE for our halfway huskies. Hector, Lil Shrimp, Zeke, and two of the Littles all made it home. And that’s just the beginning. So many more amazing pups have been adopted, and we’ll be sharing their No Longer Halfway Home stories soon.

Because every tail wag, every happy tear, every forever home? That’s the why.

🐾 Husky Highlights: Who’s Still Waiting

Every single one of these dogs is adoptable. Every single one has been waiting. And every single one deserves their shot.

🚐 Rescue Rides

From Oklahoma to California to New Jersey, huskies are moving.

Every rescue ride is life or death. That’s why we fundraise so hard.

💰 Fighting to Fund It

Construction bills. Vet bills. Payroll. Food for 200+ huskies. It adds up fast. This month, YOU stepped up.

  • $50K match closed, paying off debt, covering meds, stocking Bravecto, and pushing construction forward.

  • Muttnation + Tractor Supply named us the Oklahoma grant winner.

  • Sweepstakes prizes fueling the fight:

    • Nintendo Switch 2-Winner Drawn

    • Rubicon Dog seat-Drawing soon

    • Pizza oven - still going !

It’s $5 at a time. That’s how we keep going.

🌈 Goodbye, Kaliska

She was 17 years old when Carter brought her home. Emaciated, frail, half bald. For 103 days, she knew love. A warm bed. Soft food. Someone who stayed up every four hours just to coax her to eat.

On Friday, she told us it was her time.

Now she’s running free with Bruce, Kodiak, Albus, Odin, Ruby, and every husky we’ve lost along the way. Don’t say “sorry.” Say see you later.

🚨 How to Help Right Now

🔥 What’s Next

Construction crews are on-site. Cabins are going up. The splash pad is coming. The husky-proof park is no longer just a dream.

The fight continues. The dogs keep coming. And we won’t stop — till they all have homes.
