This weekend at Husky Halfway House was a whirlwind of heart, hustle, and a whole lot of husky personality. From celebrating the dads who keep our rescue running to launching fundraisers and fighting for financial survival, here’s everything you might’ve missed (but definitely want to catch up on).

💔 A Raw and Real Plea from our HBIC:

This week, Jenni pulled back the curtain in one of the most vulnerable and transparent posts we’ve ever shared. After uncovering betrayal, losing a key part of her leadership team, and fighting to keep H3 alive through mounting pressure—she laid it all out.

What followed wasn’t just a call for help. It was a rally cry.

“I made a promise to the husky gods that I’d go big and never go home… I’m keeping that promise. But I need time. And I need my team.”

PJ Party, Apple Watch & Financial Transparency


We kept it cozy and candid during Friday’s Puppy Pajama Party, while also shining a light on the reality of rescue funding. Jenni shared raw, emotional updates about recent struggles -including delayed paychecks, tight budgets, and the painful cost of sustainability.


You showed up in a big way, helping us raise thousands through the Apple Watch Sweepstakes, but we’re still pushing toward a goal of 5,000 tickets sold to fund a full month of operations.


Justice for raccoon ball: Timber vs. Annabelle


In a shocking turn of events, Annabelle launched Timber’s beloved raccoon ball onto the roof of the gazebo. 😱 Chaos ensued. Feelings were hurt. Faith in humanity was shaken.


Enter: Carter, who retrieved the ball and restored order. Timber is now back to zooming, chewing, and loving life—ball in tow.

🌈 From Ashes to Adoptions: Nala’s No Longer Halfway Home Story


After surviving a kennel fire in January, Nala found safety at H3 -then something even better. A home.


Now she’s smothering her new dog park friends in love, sleeping in peace, and living the life she always deserved.

Ian is 4 years old and has been with us for 760 days—but this sweet, snuggly boy is still holding out hope for his forever family. He’s the kind of pup who’s happy to go for a walk, play fetch, or just lounge around like a champ. Medium-energy and people-loving, Ian thrives in a home with belly rubs, snacks, and a cozy couch.

Judge has been with H3 for over 600 days, and in that time, he’s given us every emotion on the chart—sometimes all in one day. At just under 4 years old, he’s packed with husky energy, wild opinions, and endless comedy.

He’s loud. He’s chaotic. He’s lovable. And if you’ve ever dreamed of living with a furry stand-up comedian who moonlights as a personal trainer and chaos coordinator—Judge might be your guy.
