Everyone this beautiful sweetheart is Shakira.

She is a staff go to when new dogs need an introduction to pack life. Playful little thing and she is bossy but never in a mean way. Shakira loves her people and is super gentle when taking treats. She adores head scritches.

Considering she was brought into the OKC shelter with a euthanasia request due to a bite and her kennel card was automatically flagged as aggressive towards people, she didn’t stand a chance. Luckily, the shelter reached out to us for a transfer. From day one she has been a gentle spirit and has shown no aggression to anyone. So, we are going to call b.s on that aggressive husky nonsense.

Shakira is a medium energy husky. Perfectly content to lounge with you but also ready to go adventuring. She would love to be someone’s hiking buddy. Or walking buddy. Or car ride companion.

She does great with all packs and has an easy-going attitude to just about everything. So, if you are looking for a first-rate cuddle bug, who likes other dogs and is up for a variety of adventures, then Shakira is your girl. It’s time for her to get a forever.
