He is a lovable and friendly four-year-old, but his past is a bit of a mystery.
You see, Luca's journey began when he was adopted from the Oklahoma City shelter, but soon found himself back there as a stray. Hoping to reunite him with his adoptive family, the shelter workers reached out to them.
But his adopters decided that they didn't want to come get him. No reasons were listed on his paperwork, they just didn't want him anymore. So, he stayed in the shelter. Then the flu lock downs started, and the nightmare began.
In his shelter, 80 animals were euthanized in 48 hours.
Yet, somehow, Luca was spared. And in a stroke of luck, Husky Halfway House pulled all of the huskies they could out of there. Because mass euthanasia is never okay.
Now it's time for Luca to find his true home.
He is great with people! Not so great in the packs with the other dogs. Luca has some food possessive issues and likes his own space. Definitely a low to medium energy guy. He loves to get scritches, lay around in cool places and take naps. He knows how to shake and likes to show off all the time!
