Sometimes, we as rescuers just can’t let some go, no matter the cost.

A minimum of 25 times a day, there are messages and tags from people asking me to save dogs. I want to save them all, truly, but I built this rescue so that I/we at H3 can decide who we want to rescue.

Today I decided on her.

Imagine, you, her human, passes away while your worst worldly fear happens outside of your control. Your best friend, the one who you truly love the most, is now alone. The people that took her after you left put her in a small outdoor space and left her there for a few months before they finally dump her in a shelter.

How do I know that’s what happened? Because her tail is missing every bit of its fur, her belly and rear end are completely matted, and the mites have already eaten away at a baseball size patch of skin that is raw and red from her chewing on it. Tell tail signs.

They finally dump her at the shelter and now your best friend is screaming for you in a 2X2 box in a big city shelter while her coat soaks up all her pee.

Next, she gets sick in the very shelter that has recently announced a deadly disease spreading throughout its residents killing multiple every month.

And yesterday she was put on the euthanasia list.

Well, yesterday I got her back. Maybe you can get mine by helping me cover her upcoming expenses. 2 weeks in quarantine, daily medications, grooming, special diet, a new home...

Can you help? Donations are tax deductible and badly needed.

I know that I shouldn’t taking more dogs, but something made me NEED to take her.

Help if you can huskyhalfwayhouse@gmail.com is all the digital platforms.

Thank you, thank you for your consideration.
