Hey. I’m Vivian. I’m almost six, I’ve been running this rescue for over 1,200 days, and let’s get one thing straight: I am the boss. Not because I’m loud—please, I don’t need to bark orders to get my point across. I walk in a room, and everyone just knows. Respect. 
 
I came from Broken Arrow as a stray, and honestly? Not shocked. I’m an escape artist on a level y’all aren’t ready for. Climb? Yep. Dig? Obviously. Squeeze, jump, shimmy, slither? Baby, I do it all—and I’ve done it while you’re watching me. I don’t wait for chances; I make them. 
 
I’m a red husky, so yeah—I’ll talk to you. But not for your attention, just to let you know what’s up. I don’t do drama, I don’t babysit younger girls, and I definitely don’t share my snacks. Give me my own food bowl, some enrichment puzzles to stretch my genius, and a secure yard I maybe won’t break out of (no promises), and we’ll get along just fine. 
 
I’d do great in a medium-energy home with people who understand huskies, respect my space, and hand out treats like I deserve (which is always).

Every Husky at Husky Halfway House needs food, medical care, shelter, and love every single day.It costs about $10 a day to care for one dog, and with over a hundred huskies on-site and transport currently paused, we need your help more than ever.

That’s where Virtual Adoptions come in.
When you virtually adopt, you’re sponsoring one of our Halfway Huskies while they wait for their forever home.You’re helping cover their daily care, meals, medication, and their second chance.

How it works
You choose your husky and your level of sponsorship, and we’ll take care of the rest.
If your chosen dog’s sponsorship is already met for the month, your donation will automatically go toward the next husky with the highest need.
If your husky gets adopted, we’ll contact you with the details of your new Halfway Husky and offer the option to switch or continue your sponsorship.
