If you've ever wished your best friend came with unlimited energy, strong opinions, and absolutely no fear of getting dirty, we'd like to introduce you to Upton.
Around 4 years old, neutered, and ready for his forever home, Upton is a high-energy boy who loves to run, play, dig, splash in the water, and stay involved in whatever is happening around him. As you can probably tell from the video, he always seems to have a little extra fuel left in the tank.
Upton is also a talkative husky who isn't afraid to share his opinions.
He enjoys people, does well with kids, and would make an excellent companion for someone who enjoys hiking, running, or outdoor adventures. If you're looking for a dog who wants to be part of everything you do, Upton is ready to sign up.
Upton does have a high prey drive and isn't a pushover, and he doesn't particularly respect pushovers either. He can do well with other dogs when paired with confident canine companions and experienced owners who understand husky dynamics. Otherwise, Upton may be happiest as an only dog living an active lifestyle where he gets plenty of opportunities to burn off that energy and enjoy adventures with his people.
Rescued from the San Bernardino County Shelter in California, Upton is waiting for the family that appreciates a little chaos, a lot of personality, and a husky who greets every day like it's the greatest adventure he's ever had.

How it works
You choose your husky and your level of sponsorship, and we’ll take care of the rest.
If your chosen dog’s sponsorship is already met for the month, your donation will automatically go toward the next husky with the highest need.
If your husky gets adopted, we’ll contact you with the details of your new Halfway Husky and offer the option to switch or continue your sponsorship.
