Yeah, I’m about 5. But really? I’m an old man in a husky suit. Been around the block, seen some stuff, lost most of my fur, and came out the other side with a strong snack addiction and zero tolerance for nonsense. 🛋️🍖 
 
I showed up here 120 days ago from the Newcastle shelter lookin’ like a plucked chicken—except for my fuzzy little bobblehead, which, honestly, is still my best feature. Since then, I’ve been growing my coat back and perfecting my grumpy-but-lovable aesthetic. 
 
I do love my people. Deeply. I’ll stick close, nap nearby, and shoot you side-eyes until you share your food. But let’s get one thing straight—I’m not here for chaos, and I don’t need a rowdy pack. Other dogs? Meh. I’ll deal, but I’m not starting a group chat. 
 
I do my best at the vet (even when I’m not exactly thrilled), and I’m really just looking for one thing: peace. A soft place. A human who understands that I don’t want much—just snacks, naps, and someone who loves me like the grumpy little king I am. 👑 Oh, and someone to use a K-9 dryer and itch ALL the best spots. I'll sit and let you blow out my coat for hours. 
 
No pack needed. I’m all the dog you’ll ever want. 🖤🐾

Every Husky at Husky Halfway House needs food, medical care, shelter, and love every single day.It costs about $10 a day to care for one dog, and with over a hundred huskies on-site and transport currently paused, we need your help more than ever.

That’s where Virtual Adoptions come in.
When you virtually adopt, you’re sponsoring one of our Halfway Huskies while they wait for their forever home.You’re helping cover their daily care, meals, medication, and their second chance.

How it works
You choose your husky and your level of sponsorship, and we’ll take care of the rest.
If your chosen dog’s sponsorship is already met for the month, your donation will automatically go toward the next husky with the highest need.
If your husky gets adopted, we’ll contact you with the details of your new Halfway Husky and offer the option to switch or continue your sponsorship.
