Hey, I’m Sequoyah 💛 A Survivor, A Fighter, and Maybe… Your Ride-or-Die. 
 
I’m four years old, tougher than nails, and sweeter than you’d ever expect. Life threw some serious punches my way—not long ago, I was out there just trying to survive when a human did the unthinkable and hurt me. I lost a leg because of it. But you know what? I didn’t lose my spirit. Not even close. 
 
I’m still bold. I’m still sassy. And I’m still ready to love someone with everything I’ve got. 
 
Here’s the thing about me: I don't give my heart away to just anyone. I need a little time (and definitely some treats) to decide if you’re worthy. I’ve got strong "stranger danger" instincts—so yeah, you’ll have to come meet me in person, and bring the whole crew. But if you’re patient and kind, and you let me choose you? Oh man, you’re in for something special. 
 
When I love, I love hard. I’m not just a velcro dog—I’m a full-on shadow. I’ll want to be with you everywhere you go, every second I can. You’ll never feel alone again, promise. 
 
I’m a medium-to-high energy kind of girl, so I’m looking for a home where we can get out there and live life. Long walks, runs, hikes, romping with the right dog buddies—count me in. Structure, adventure, and loyalty? That’s my language. 
 
I’m not for everyone. But for my person? I’ll be everything. 
Maybe that’s you.

H3 Virtual Adoptions

Every Husky at Husky Halfway House needs food, medical care, shelter, and love every single day.It costs about $10 a day to care for one dog, and with over a hundred huskies on-site and transport currently paused, we need your help more than ever.

That’s where Virtual Adoptions come in.
When you virtually adopt, you’re sponsoring one of our Halfway Huskies while they wait for their forever home.You’re helping cover their daily care, meals, medication, and their second chance.

How it works
You choose your husky and your level of sponsorship, and we’ll take care of the rest.
If your chosen dog’s sponsorship is already met for the month, your donation will automatically go toward the next husky with the highest need.
If your husky gets adopted, we’ll contact you with the details of your new Halfway Husky and offer the option to switch or continue your sponsorship.
