This is Phoenix, and if you don't remember his story, you have no idea how awesome this video is..

Not long after H3 rescued him, he escaped from quarantine, leading to months of worry..
.
Luckily, he decided the lake and a local Mexican restaurant just a few miles from us were pretty great hangout spots, so we had eyes on him almost immediately. Actually catching him, though? That took months.
.
He was terrified of everyone. But eventually, with incredible patience, Mike and Annabelle were able to bring him back to the rescue. Even then, it took months of patience, consistency, and letting Phoenix move at his own pace before he started believing that hands could be kind..
.
And now?.
.
Just look at him..
.
The dog who once would barely take a cookie with the very tips of his teeth is now soaking up pets from Annabelle..
.
Phoenix is estimated to be around 3 years old and is available for adoption! Like all H3 huskies, we'll be looking for the home that's the best fit for both Phoenix and his future family..
.
We couldn't be more proud of how far he's come. His journey has inspired so many people that he's now the face of Pitsky Brew Co., and he even has his very own children's book written by Jenni!.

Every tail wag, every gentle lean into a scratch, every little bit of confidence Phoenix has found feels like a victory..
