Hey, I’m Poncho – Your New Adventure Buddy! 🎒🐾 
 
I’m about 2 years and 7 months old, and I’ve been hanging out at the rescue for 43 days now—charming everybody I meet (it’s a gift). But you know what would be even better? Finding my forever person to charm instead. 
 
I’m a total people dog. Wherever you go, whatever you do, I’m your guy. Hike? I’m in. Chill day at home? You bet. Quick trip to grab snacks? Make sure you get something for me too. If you’re doing it, I want to be right there with you, keeping you company and making life better. 
 
Now, fair warning—I’m a little bit of a troublemaker when it comes to fences. You give me a yard, I’ll find a way out. It’s not personal, I just love an adventure! So honestly, I don’t need a big yard—I need someone who can keep up with my curious, sneaky little brain and give me plenty of things to do. 
 
I’m also a pack guy, but only if I get to be the boss. I’m cool with other dogs, as long as they let me call the shots. And guess what? I’m super food motivated. You’ve got treats? I’ll do pretty much anything you ask. 🦴 
 
If you’re looking for a high-energy, loyal, snack-obsessed best friend who will love you like crazy, it’s me. It’s always been me.

Every Husky at Husky Halfway House needs food, medical care, shelter, and love every single day.It costs about $10 a day to care for one dog, and with over a hundred huskies on-site and transport currently paused, we need your help more than ever.

That’s where Virtual Adoptions come in.
When you virtually adopt, you’re sponsoring one of our Halfway Huskies while they wait for their forever home.You’re helping cover their daily care, meals, medication, and their second chance.

How it works
You choose your husky and your level of sponsorship, and we’ll take care of the rest.
If your chosen dog’s sponsorship is already met for the month, your donation will automatically go toward the next husky with the highest need.
If your husky gets adopted, we’ll contact you with the details of your new Halfway Husky and offer the option to switch or continue your sponsorship.
