Ozzy

Before finding his way to H3, Ozzy was at the OKC shelter, where he was adopted out at least once but returned because of his knack for escaping. Since then, Ozzy has been with us for 622 days, and during this time, he's been adopted out twice. His first adoptive home couldn't contain his adventurous spirit-Ozzy escaped to go on an unplanned journey! Luckily, another family found him, fell in love, and when the vet discovered H3's microchip and contacted Jenni, they were eager to officially adopt him. Understanding they weren't the right fit, the first family entrusted Ozzy to the second family through our process..

But even in his new home, Ozzy couldn't resist the call of adventure. Despite both homes having another husky for him to play with, it just wasn't enough to keep him entertained. There's no shame in him coming back to us-Ozzy simply needs more. He thrives in the big packs at the rescue, so we're looking for a home with a big family and lots of friends for him this time around..

Ozzy has medium to high energy, but don't worry-he knows when to chill. A husky with an off button? Rare, but true! He's goofy, loving, and eager to find the perfect family with a pack that can keep him busy. No alpha males, though-Ozzy won't be pushed around..

He loves treats, craves attention, and his favorite game is "Catch Me," especially when the leash comes out. And let's not forget-Ozzy absolutely loves water! Whether it's splashing around in a kiddie pool or getting hosed down, he's all in. And after a good bath, he enjoys being pampered with the blow dryer. At four years old, Ozzy enjoys the big pack environment here, but we don't want him to miss out on having a home of his own. He deserves his own people, who can shower him with attention and take him on fun adventures. A six-foot fence without any gaps is a must because this clever boy will find a way out if given the chance. Even if that means digging out! But if you don't have a yard, no worries-someone who will keep him on a leash would be just as great! Ozzy would love to go on walks, visit dog parks, and even enjoy some time at doggy daycare when he can't be with you..
