Nala and Simba are a bonded pair looking for a home together.
These two need each other.
They feel safe together. They run around the dog park basically glued to one another, constantly checking in, constantly moving side by side like two tiny magnets.
I (Tracy) got to meet them on my recent trip to the rescue and they are just babies in every sense of the word.
They are estimated to be around 9 months old now, and they have already spent almost half their lives in rescue. H3 rescued them back in January and somehow they are still here waiting.
Please do not let them grow up in rescue.
Humans failed them in the beginning, but we can do better for them now.
Simba is the black and white husky. Nala is the saddleback. Simba is also the one who sometimes has to be carried home from the dog park because he absolutely does not want outside playtime to end.
Meanwhile, Nala seems much more interested in maintaining some dignity.
They love to play. They love attention. They love to be squished and cuddled and loved on.
They deserve to grow up learning what a real home feels like.

How it works

If your chosen dog’s sponsorship is already met for the month, your donation will automatically go toward the next husky with the highest need.
If your husky gets adopted, we’ll contact you with the details of your new Halfway Husky and offer the option to switch or continue your sponsorship.
