Yo. I’m Ike—about 4 years old, been hanging out here for 815 days since leaving the Stockton City Shelter. And let me be real with you: I’m not here for the drama. 🐾😎 
 
I’m more of a shade over spotlight kind of guy. You’ll usually find me stretched out under a tree, minding my business, maybe chewing on a soft toy while the other dogs act like the world’s on fire. Zoomies? Nah. Loud play fights? Double nah. 🙄 
 
I’m not food-obsessed like some of these guys, but I’ve got other ways of winning you over—like my chill vibe and my “hang out with me forever” energy. You earn my trust? You’ve got a quiet, ride-or-die friend for life. 💙 
 
Medium energy, big heart, low maintenance. If you’re the kind of person who’d rather hang at home than hit the party, we’re already speaking the same language.

Every Husky at Husky Halfway House needs food, medical care, shelter, and love every single day.It costs about $10 a day to care for one dog, and with over a hundred huskies on-site and transport currently paused, we need your help more than ever.

That’s where Virtual Adoptions come in.
When you virtually adopt, you’re sponsoring one of our Halfway Huskies while they wait for their forever home.You’re helping cover their daily care, meals, medication, and their second chance.

How it works
You choose your husky and your level of sponsorship, and we’ll take care of the rest.
If your chosen dog’s sponsorship is already met for the month, your donation will automatically go toward the next husky with the highest need.
If your husky gets adopted, we’ll contact you with the details of your new Halfway Husky and offer the option to switch or continue your sponsorship.
