Huckleberry

Huckleberry is the definition of a "sassy sasshole" in the best way possible. He's bold, opinionated, and full of personality, but above all, he's a dog who loves his people fiercely. Once he chooses you, he wants to be the only love of your life-your one and only. Huckleberry isn't interested in sharing that bond, so if you're looking for a dog who craves your full attention, he's the one.
Huckleberry has his quirks, though. He can be food possessive, so understanding his boundaries around mealtime is important. And as for grooming? He's definitely not a fan. He'll tolerate a little plucking, but anything more and he'll make it clear that he's not enjoying the experience. Yet, that's just part of his charm-he knows what he likes and what he doesn't, and he isn't afraid to let you know.
In the yard, Huckleberry likes to think he's the top dog, and he's surrounded by other like-minded huskies who all have the same idea. Somehow, they keep each other in check, all navigating the pack dynamic with a balance only huskies understand. Jenni adores him for exactly who he is, sass and all. There's something about Huck's independent, spirited nature that's hard not to fall in love with. Maybe it's his defiance, or maybe it's the way he knows how to melt your heart when he feels like it.
Huckleberry has always had a bit of duality in him, like many huskies. He can be the sweetest, most loyal companion when he wants to be, but only on his terms. And while his past boarding notes mentioned he didn't like people in his space, the team here hasn't seen that behavior firsthand. Huckleberry isn't a dog for everyone-he's for someone who speaks his language.
He's an absolutely lovable good boy, but only when you take the time to learn his temperament and accept him for who he is. Huckleberry is waiting for a strong leader who understands huskies, a person who sees past his sass and recognizes the loyalty and love hiding underneath.
