Hey, I’m Gage! I’m 2 years old, full of bounce, and totally obsessed with tennis balls. Like, seriously—toss one and I’m your ride-or-die. I came from the Avenal Shelter about 200 days ago, and I’ve been living life loud, fast, and full of love ever since.
I’m the kind of pup who’s always up for an adventure—fetch, park trips, a backyard splash party (did I mention I love water?), or just soaking up attention from my people. I’ve got energy to spare, but once the play is done, I’m all about snuggles and chill time.
I do best with a little structure and a home that gets me—someone who can keep things fun but knows how to lay down the rules too. Basically, if you’ve got time, toys, treats, and maybe a kiddie pool, I’ll be your number one fan.

Every Husky at Husky Halfway House needs food, medical care, shelter, and love every single day.It costs about $10 a day to care for one dog, and with over a hundred huskies on-site and transport currently paused, we need your help more than ever.
That’s where Virtual Adoptions come in.
When you virtually adopt, you’re sponsoring one of our Halfway Huskies while they wait for their forever home.You’re helping cover their daily care, meals, medication, and their second chance.
How it works
You choose your husky and your level of sponsorship, and we’ll take care of the rest.
If your chosen dog’s sponsorship is already met for the month, your donation will automatically go toward the next husky with the highest need.
If your husky gets adopted, we’ll contact you with the details of your new Halfway Husky and offer the option to switch or continue your sponsorship.
