Forney

Forney has such a sweet smile, it hides his sassy husky side until he needs it 💙🐾

When Forney first came to H3, he was completely shaved except for his head and two furry balls. Thankfully, those are no longer part of the story, and his coat has grown back into the glorious fluffy situation you see now.

Forney is voluptuous, handsome, and very aware of both facts.

He is a medium-energy guy who loves his people, belly scratches, cool lounging spots, and a good run at the dog park. Watching him stretch his legs and take off is one of those little joys at H3 that never gets old. He can be grumpy. He can be opinionated. He can be the sassiest of sassholes. But yesterday, he let Jess brush him at the park, so clearly his personality contains multitudes.

Forney does well in the packs, but let's be clear: he is not here to be pushed around. He tolerates other huskies, but he would very much like everyone to remember that he is Forney, and Forney is top dog. If there is drama, he needs to intervene, because apparently he appointed himself management.

He is food motivated and can be food possessive at times, so husky experience is a must. He also has a high prey drive and is not a good fit for a home with cats or small animals.

Forney wants a home, but not just any home. He needs someone who understands huskies, respects his boundaries, loves his sass, and is ready for that smile that never seems to leave his face.

Forney is ready for his next adventure. He's been halfway home long enough.

It's time for someone to take him all the way home.
