Hi there! I’m Ellie — your future best friend, hiking buddy, and professional treat catcher. 
 
I’m 2 years and 3 months old, and I’ve been hanging out at the rescue for over 90 days now. The people here are super nice, but what I really want is a forever home where I can be your loyal sidekick in all things fun and cuddly. 
 
Let me tell you a little about myself: 
I’ve got energy for days — running, hiking, playing with toys (especially the squeaky ones!) — I’m all in. I loooove my people and will happily soak up all the attention you can give me. Cuddles on the couch? Yes, please. Treats? Double yes. I’m treat-motivated, smart, and I can catch snacks like a total champ. 
 
Now, honesty time: I’ve got a high prey drive, so I’m not the girl for a home with cats or little critters. But if you’ve got a strong canine buddy to show me the ropes, I’d love to be part of a pack. I’m still learning, but I’m eager, sweet, and ready to find my groove in a home with structure and love.

Every Husky at Husky Halfway House needs food, medical care, shelter, and love every single day.It costs about $10 a day to care for one dog, and with over a hundred huskies on-site and transport currently paused, we need your help more than ever.

That’s where Virtual Adoptions come in.
When you virtually adopt, you’re sponsoring one of our Halfway Huskies while they wait for their forever home.You’re helping cover their daily care, meals, medication, and their second chance.

How it works
You choose your husky and your level of sponsorship, and we’ll take care of the rest.
If your chosen dog’s sponsorship is already met for the month, your donation will automatically go toward the next husky with the highest need.
If your husky gets adopted, we’ll contact you with the details of your new Halfway Husky and offer the option to switch or continue your sponsorship.
