She can be incredibly sweet from a distance, happily accepting butt scratches and quietly enjoying your company. But her trust is fragile and unpredictable. One moment you're a friend, and the next, for reasons only Dolly understands, you've been promoted to "Public Enemy Number One.".

We don't know what happened in her past to make her see the world this way. We just know that this is who she is now, and it's our job to meet her where she is instead of asking her to be someone she can't..

She'll go to impressive lengths to avoid putting her paws on concrete—even if that means refusing to go outside and deciding the office floor is a much better place to handle her business. We've learned that sometimes the easiest solution is simply accepting that Dolly has her own rules..
