Blue is one of our sanctuary boys and honestly one of the sweetest huskies you will ever meet. He is 7 1/2 years old, has been with H3 since 2021, and originally came to us from Texas.
Blue has seizures, which makes him special needs, but if you met him in the yard you would probably just think “wow this guy really wants hugs.” Because he does. Constantly. He loves attention, loves affection, and absolutely believes people were created specifically to love on him.
He is friendly with the other dogs and does well in the packs, but Blue is not a pushover either. He will absolutely stand up for himself if another husky gets too pushy with him. Sweet does not mean weak.
He loves laying in the sun, chatting back at you, and playing with squeaky toys. Although “playing” might not be the right word because the squeaky toy in this video was brand new and he destroyed it in about five seconds flat out in the yard with us. Truly an impressive.
He is deeply loved here and one of those boys who leaves an impression on everyone who meets him.

How it works
You choose your husky and your level of sponsorship, and we’ll take care of the rest.
If your chosen dog’s sponsorship is already met for the month, your donation will automatically go toward the next husky with the highest need.
If your husky gets adopted, we’ll contact you with the details of your new Halfway Husky and offer the option to switch or continue your sponsorship.
