Jenni picked Aurora up 21 weeks ago from a cold shelter floor. The shelter had labeled her a senior, but honestly, she is not. Untreated heartworms can make dogs act and feel much older than they really are, and Aurora was heartworm positive when she arrived..

Now she is on a slow treatment plan to help her heal, and we would love to have a home waiting for her while she gets better..

Aurora loves playing with the seniors here in the Elders Den, but we know she would love even more to play with her very own people..

How it works
You choose your husky and your level of sponsorship, and we’ll take care of the rest.
If your chosen dog’s sponsorship is already met for the month, your donation will automatically go toward the next husky with the highest need.
If your husky gets adopted, we’ll contact you with the details of your new Halfway Husky and offer the option to switch or continue your sponsorship.
